Mr Bulman contacted HeatPumps4Homes out of interest in an air source heat pump. He wanted to have a positive impact on the environment, so he decided a heat pump was the route to go. Air source heat pumps can have up to 5x the efficiency of a regular gas boiler. After multiple site visits, and in-depth heat loss calculations – the Mitsubishi Ecodan 11.2kW was suited best for Mr Bulmans property. Based on the water consumption in his home, we paired this with the 250L Pre-plumbed cylinder.

During the installation, we changed 14 radiators to account for the lower flow temperature. We replaced the old ones with brand new double panel radiators which made a better look in the customers home. We located the cylinder in the garage and the heat pump in the back garden, which allowed for a short flow & return. This helps minimise the heat loss in the pipes.

Mr Bulman was left very happy with his new heating and DHW system, all powered by just electricity and the ambient air!
