Mrs Coop approached HeatPumps4Homes, asking if we could supply her a new, low carbon footprint heating system for her new build property – whilst encorporating underfloor heating on the ground floor. We sized the customer a Mitsubishi Zubadan 14kW heat pump, and paired it with the 250L pre-plumbed cylinder. This ensured that the new heating system would keep the house warm even at -5 degrees outside.
We had a full design plan made for the underfloor heating, which was designed to work at a 45 degree flow temperature. This was a 2-zone system as the underfloor heating only covered the downstairs, and the customer had radiators upstairs. Putting a low carbon heating system on a new build is ideal, as it allows for a clean install with no existing pipework to modify.
Mrs Coop was very happy with her new system. We provided her with a comprehensive handover pack which included her MCS certificate and all relevant documents. She was left with a warm and comfortable home.
