We was approached by Mr Shields about the installation of an air source heat pump in his park home. He told us that he would like a more efficient heating system than his existing electric one. Many people with park homes look into heat pumps due to mass savings on electric bills throughout the winter.

After some room-by-room heat loss calculations, we decided on fitting the Ecodan 8.5kW alongside the 150L Slimline Cylinder. Any pipework adjustments and radiator changes were all taken care of by us. Our electrician fitted and paired the wireless thermostat to the main control panel on the cylinder, allowing for seamless heating and DHW control around the property. We also set up the MELcloud app on Mr Shields phone, which allows him to control the system and view all parameters directly from his mobile.

He was very pleased with the outcome of the installation which resulted in a reduction to his bills, and now having an MCS certified heat pump system operating on his home in Canvey.
